Gaucín, Andalusien, Spanien

Gaucin
Gaucin is one of the 'pueblo blanco' villages of Andalucia, Southern Spain. It sits at 626 meters above sea level and is the most western point of the Serranía de Ronda.

Gaucin's benign climate, due to its maritime influence, distinguishes it from other pueblos in the Ronda mountains, which are colder in winter and hotter in summer. Its stunning natural surroundings and magnificent views make it a haven for nature lovers and artists.

HOW TO GET THERE:
ROADS: Manilva/Sabinillas - approx. 30-35 minute drive from the coastal (N340/A7) and about a 25-30 minute drive from the new AP7 toll road exit at Manilva.
AIRPORTS: Gibraltar airport is about a 1 hour drive and Malaga airport is about a 1.5 hour drive. Jerez and Sevilla airports are also within easy driving distance.
TRAINS: The Gaucin train station is in Colmenar, about a 1/2 hour drive from the village.
